The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Director to manage the day-to-day operations of our complex needs service. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall care and management of the service, staff team, and individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality support from the staff team
  • Work closely with individuals to develop and implement their person-centred care plans, incorporating their needs and wishes
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment for staff, demonstrating effective communication, leadership, and management skills
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards of care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing complex needs services or similar roles
  • Level 4 QCF/Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in a care setting supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
