About the Job

We are hiring a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at American Family Care, Inc. as a Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Document patient interactions, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as a Medical Examiner for DOT physicals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Promote preventative care through education and counseling, fostering a culture of wellness within the community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows.
  • Prior experience in primary/urgent care or internal medicine practice is desirable.
