Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to provide essential care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping children feel safe, valued, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and daily activities, promoting independence and life skills.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment, promoting positive behaviors and managing challenging situations effectively.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Support children with their education and extracurricular activities, encouraging their personal development.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with the children, offering emotional support and guidance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues. You will also need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
