Senior Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Elite Care Recruitment.

About the Role:

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential home setting. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that the needs of the young people are met, and that the home is a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people, including personal care, education, and leisure activities.
  • Lead shifts and manage a team of care staff, ensuring that the home is run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters and ensure that the home is maintained to a high standard.
  • Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviors.
  • Experience of leading shifts and supervising care staff.
  • Ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  • Full UK Manual driving license.
