Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at ProxyCare Limited. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Support residents with their medication, including administration and recording
  • Participate in care planning and review, contributing to the development of individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a healthcare support worker role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop
