Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team to maintain a therapeutic approach and provide direct work with the children.
- Lead shifts and manage a staff team, ensuring the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters and ensure the home is maintained to a high standard.
- Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.
- NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviors.
- Experience of leading shifts and supervising care staff.
- Ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Full UK Manual driving license.
