About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our valued SEND Therapies Team in West Essex. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with early years and school-aged children, providing expert therapy services to support their communication needs.

This is a part-time position, working hybrid between visits to local schools and virtual sessions from home. You will have core hours during school times, with flexibility to complete additional hours as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a registered HCPC registration in Speech and Language Therapy and be a registered member of the Royal College of SLT. A driving license and access to a vehicle are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • To work alongside our Community Therapies Team and support the therapy needs of children with Education and Health Care Plans.
  • To work with educational professionals (SENCOs, LSAs, teachers/parents/carers) in setting goals and implementing Therapy plans, integrating within their daily curriculum, as specified in the child's EHCP.
