About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Health Specialist to join our team in Essex. As a Band 6 Health Visitor, you will be part of a valued team at our Family Wellbeing Service, providing support to children and families in the community.

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering the Healthy Child Programme, assessing health needs, and developing individualized care plans for each child. You will also lead interventions to improve outcomes and safeguard children and families, working closely with colleagues from our CCG, including paediatricians, speech and language therapists, and dietitians.
