About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a solid commercial background, strong leadership skills, and experience in managing project budgets, subcontractors, and other commercial aspects of the site.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with hands-on experience in managing mechanical installations and systems on-site, as well as a strong understanding of project finances, cost control, and contract management.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Management: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards.
  2. Commercial Management: Monitor and control the financial aspects of the site, ensuring project costs stay within budget and managing resources effectively to maximize profitability.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, resolving issues as they arise.
  4. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear and effective.
  5. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a high level of site safety at all times.
  6. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work on-site to ensure it meets company standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
  7. Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, ensuring all milestones are met, and report regularly to senior management on project status, including any potential risks or delays.
  8. Contract Management: Assist in managing contracts and ensure that the commercial aspects of the site, including variations and claims, are handled in line with project objectives.

Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
