Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to oversee a traditional build project in Cambridge, Norfolk. The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an Assistant Site Manager within a production team on similar new-build traditional projects.

About the Role:
  • Serve as No2, Assistant Site Manager, reporting directly to either a SSM or SM.
  • Conduct inductions and toolbox talks to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain clear understanding of customer care and adhere to company programmes.
  • Develop and implement effective programming strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff meet programme targets and deadlines.
  2. Identify and address any issues that cannot be resolved on-site, escalating them to the No'1 for resolution.
  3. Coordinate all trades, labour, and sub-contractors to maintain efficient operations.
  4. Manage NHBC stage inspections to ensure compliance.
  5. Oversee snagging and re-snagging processes to guarantee quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Assistant Site Manager on traditional build housing schemes.
  • Advantageous experience working with HA (Housing Association).
  • Background in trade supervision is beneficial.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification.
  • First Aid training.
