Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

Location: Remote

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day financial transactions and providing administrative support to our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt payment and reconciliation.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
