The Redbourn Treatment plant specializes in the management of inorganic chemical bulk waste through advanced physio-chemical processes. Our team is passionate about our mission, focusing on customer satisfaction and driving our success.

Your Responsibilities:
  • As a Chemical Operations Specialist, you will conduct analyses of plant effluent samples in accordance with company protocols and the Business Management System.
  • You will assess incoming customer samples for compliance with pre-acceptance criteria and assist with maintenance tasks.
  • Engage in the evaluation of incoming bulk deliveries, ensuring accurate record-keeping using our computerized systems.
  • Support site management in maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Promote environmental awareness among employees, contractors, and visitors, while assisting in maintaining laboratory cleanliness.
  • Uphold high standards of site housekeeping and support management in fulfilling obligations related to environmental permits.
  • Carry out any operational tasks assigned by site management.
  • Participate in Saturday shifts on a rotational basis, compensated as overtime.
What We Seek:
  • A HNC / NVQ in Chemistry or a related field
  • Experience in a chemical role
  • Familiarity with hazardous waste management is advantageous
  • A valid UK driving license
