**About the Role**

Interfacio Ltd is seeking an experienced embedded software and firmware development engineer to join its team. As a key member of the company's engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and writing code for microcontrollers and other devices across its range of proprietary hardware electronic products.

In this role, you will primarily be writing embedded firmware code in C/C++ for a range of devices including STM32 ARM based MCUs, as well as some RP and Sharc processors. There will also be opportunities to develop and work on embedded Linux for kernel requirements and other device drivers, as well as some PC-based programming.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and write code for microcontrollers and other devices using C/C++.
  • Work on embedded Linux for kernel requirements and other device drivers.
  • Contribute to the development of new product types for different market applications.

**Requirements**

  • Developed knowledge and understanding of embedded systems design.
  • Confidence in your skills in C/C++ to write good and robust code.
  • Strong interest in audio or video products, with previous experience in this field desirable.

Based in the south of England, this position requires full-time on-site work closely as part of a small team of individual contributor and managing engineers, with some flexibility for occasional home working. The salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
