About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Aftersales team at Marshall Motor Group. As an Accountant Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our Trade Parts Specialists (TPS) and Bodyshop Managers, ensuring the financial health of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for TPS and Bodyshop Managers for accounts-related queries
  • Support the Aftersales Accountant in day-to-day tasks, including debt and WIP reviews, invoice and expense payment requests
  • Ensure all accounts office tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Bad debt provision reporting and review
  • Clear and reconcile balances in suspense accounts
  • Assist with the production of management accounts
  • Calculate and post accruals and prepayments
  • Raise invoices for TPS sites
  • Submit cost submissions for TPS sites
  • Assist in balance sheet reconciliations
  • Key controls preparation and review

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a proven understanding of accounts and financial management. You will be happy to self-manage your workload and time, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Current or previous automotive experience is desirable but not essential.
