Accountant Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant Assistant to join our team at Marshall Motor Group. As an Accountant Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our Aftersales team, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Aftersales Accountant in day-to-day tasks, including debt and WIP reviews, and invoice/expense payment requests.
  • Ensure all accounts office tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with the production of management accounts, including bad debt provision reporting and review.
  • Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, and raise invoices for TPS sites.
  • Submit Cost Submissions for TPS sites and assist in Balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Current or previous experience in an Accountancy/Data/Administrator position.
  • Proven understanding of the role and day-to-day function within accounts.
  • Ability to self-manage workload and time, and work in a fast-paced environment.
