School Catering Support Staff

We are seeking experienced catering assistants to support our educational establishments. As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation activities, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks
- Cleaning and sanitizing crockery/cutlery
- Setting up dining areas
- Loading and unloading industrial dishwashers
- Cleaning/sanitizing surfaces before and after service
The estimated salary for this position is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. If you have Level 1 or 2 qualifications in food safety and hygiene, this would be advantageous.
About the Role:
As a temporary education support worker, you will work alongside our team to provide high-quality catering services to students and staff. This role involves working various hours/shifts Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
- A current enhanced DBS certificate is essential for this role
- Ability to work varied shifts and weekends as required
