Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and physically fit individuals to fill School Caretaker positions in local educational establishments. This role is ideal for those with strong DIY skills or trade qualifications who can maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the school environment.

About the Role

This is a general maintenance position that involves cleaning, setting up classrooms, and performing other site duties as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are well-maintained and tidy at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of the school's physical environment, including cleaning, repairs, and minor renovations.
  • Setup and preparation of classrooms for lessons and events.
  • Performing various site duties as required, such as waste management and recycling.
Requirements
  • Strong DIY skills or trade qualification.
  • Reliable time keeping and punctuality.
  • Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to undergo one).
Working Hours

The successful candidate will work variable hours, Monday to Friday. This may include early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive enhanced benefits, including a pension scheme, life insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
