Catering Assistant Vacancy:
Better Staff Recruitment Careers is seeking a motivated catering assistant to join our team. As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our catering team in educational establishments.
About the Role:
In this role, you will assist with food preparation activities, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing crockery/cutlery, setting up dining areas, loading and unloading industrial dishwashers, and cleaning/sanitizing surfaces before and after service.
Requirements:
- A current enhanced DBS certificate is essential for this role
- Ability to work varied shifts and weekends as required
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. If you have Level 1 or 2 qualifications in food safety and hygiene, this would be advantageous.
