Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Processing: Accurately input and code non-stock invoices into the PO and Invoice system, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Stock Invoice Matching: Match stock invoices to purchase orders (GRNs) and maintain the electronic purchase orders and invoice matching system.
- Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile all supplier statements, request missing invoices, and resolve queries in a timely manner.
- Debit Notes and Payments: Raise debit notes on suppliers for non-conformances/shortages and prepare, authorise, and process all supplier payments with relevant paperwork.
- Standing Orders and Direct Debits: Verify and input Standing Orders and Direct Debit payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Petty Cash Management: Manage and control the Petty Cash in the business, ensuring any issues are matched by authorised receipt.
- Employee Expenses: Process employee expenses forms for payment on the BACS run, ensuring compliance with Company policy.
- Month-End Procedures: Complete month-end procedures in Opera and prepare reports such as Aged Creditors.
- Payroll Support: Provide support to the payroll team, both weekly and monthly.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
