Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Radiology Nurse to join our dynamic team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology Nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

As a Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Film x-ray.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Nurse who possesses:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience of working in a radiology or imaging department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
