We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our team at North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of emergency resources to patients across the North East region.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the trust's communication system to relay critical information between operational staff and the control room.
- Pass time-sensitive information to other emergency services and hospital staff regarding patients.
- Assist the Dispatch Officer with the deployment of vehicles and the general running of the assigned area on a 12-hour shift basis.
We are looking for an individual with:
- 3 GCSEs grade C and above, including English and Mathematics (or higher) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Geographical knowledge of the area covered by the Trust.
- Previous administration experience.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- IT skills.
- Customer Service experience.
- Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities.
