Job Title: Administrator/Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator/Secretary to join our team at the Child Health Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager and team members, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and transmit patient data using both paper and computerized systems.
  • Audio/copy-type clinical letters, medical reports, and general correspondence.
  • Prepare statistical information and presentations using different software packages.
  • Assist with the collation of audit data.
  • Take telephone inquiries and deal with them appropriately.
  • Use the Oracle system for ordering stationery supplies and other sundries.
  • Retrieve and file patient medical records as required.

Requirements:

  • Good standard of general education.
  • Working in an office environment.

Skills:

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
