About the Role

Home Instead is a leading national home care provider with over 250 franchises across the UK. We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Strategic Business Development Leader in our North Wales office.

Job Description

This role will involve directing and coordinating all activities related to business development and marketing to strengthen the Home Instead brand and expand our market share in North Wales.

  • Pro Rata Flexible Shift Pattern, £30,000 (FTE £37,500)

We are looking for a candidate with experience in developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships within a local community to achieve business objectives. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of marketing principles and experience in using various marketing and communication approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Research, identify, and develop relationships in the local community to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  2. Lead and motivate the team to achieve enquiry generation objectives.
  3. Develop and deliver innovative approaches to increase awareness of Home Instead's client services and employment opportunities in the local community.
  4. Continually deliver a message that reflects our mission, vision, and values and delivers our value proposition.
  5. Proactively manage a referral pipeline and prioritise opportunities to ensure revenue targets are met.
  6. Develop key relationships with business leaders and health professionals across North Wales to build a strong referral network.
  7. Define marketing plans and digital media strategies that adhere to brand guidelines.
  8. Support managers and key players with their training and development in a positive selling service culture.
  9. Generate growth in new services for both new acquisition and enhancing current longevity of client packages.
  10. Accurately track and record enquiries to manage and adjust strategy to optimise messaging and education in the community.
Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will possess the following essential criteria:

  1. Proven track record in successfully developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships within a local community.
  2. Good understanding of marketing principles with experience of using various marketing and communication approaches.
  3. Experience of building relationships both face-to-face and virtually.
  4. Experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve targets.
  5. Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or virtual communication platforms.
  6. Experience of using data and analytics to make informed business choices.
  7. Effective interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, use initiative, and be resilient.
