Office Administrator

The Operational Office estate team at Kent County Council is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and the public. Our team strives to deliver a high standard of office facilities and environment to support our employees in carrying out their duties effectively.
This part-time role is ideal for individuals who are available to work Monday to Friday between 08:30 am and 1:30 pm. We offer a competitive salary, training opportunities, and a chance to develop in your career.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors professionally
- Manage the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle inquiries and provide information to clients and visitors
We have a statutory duty to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for effective job performance.
