The Clinical Office Administrative Co-ordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Consultants and their Medical team by providing a comprehensive administrative service. This includes responsibility for the day-to-day management of clinical office administrators and clinical office assistants.

The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to ensure high standards of care, treatment, service or support. They will be able to use initiative and judgement in dealing properly with day-to-day issues and queries, and will have knowledge and experience of Cerner and other NHS software.

Salary: £27,857 - £30,570 per annum

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to Consultants and their Medical team, including managing clinic schedules, coordinating appointments, and preparing correspondence.
  • To manage the workload of clinical office administrators and clinical office assistants, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • To act as an essential point of contact for patients, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • To work closely with the Patient Pathway Team to ensure that patient pathways are managed smoothly and efficiently.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, using systems such as Cerner to track patient progress and outcomes.
