Metalworking Sector Sales Professional

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Oil and Gas. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Metalworking sector in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of lubricants, machine tools, and their applications within the Metalworking sector. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to demonstrate Total Cost of Ownership methods and provide high-quality technical support to clients.
The role involves extensively identifying and developing new, profitable business opportunities within the Metalworking sector in the UK. This includes monitoring costs, maintaining relationships with key customers, and ensuring compliance with Company HSEQ policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Metalworking sector in the UK.
- Maintain and develop a detailed record of customers and prospects using company tools.
- Monitor costs and ensure compliance with Company HSEQ policies.
- Provide high-quality technical support to clients.
Requirements:
- Post-graduate degree or above in a relevant field (chemistry, chemical, or mechanical engineering).
- At least 5 years' experience in Metalworking sales, including trial setup and follow-up with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
