Pharmacy Technician Team Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pharmacy technician lead to play a crucial role in patient care at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and management of all aspects of dispensary services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of dispensary services, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support workers.
  • Manage stock levels and financial control of costs within the dispensary service.
  • Recruit, induct, appraise, and manage staff in the dispensaries, including attendance management and performance review.
  • Ensure stock levels reflect patient needs and contribute to the management of the drugs budget and Trust resources.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff working in the dispensary.

Requirements:

  • Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • ACPT accredited or willing to work towards qualification.
  • NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services or Equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy.
