Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior IP Counselor to join our team at G2 Legal Limited. As a Senior IP Counselor, you will be responsible for leading our Intellectual Property (IP) practice and providing high-quality legal advice to our clients.

About the Role:

  • Lead the firm's IP practice, with a particular focus on patent litigation, as well as broader contentious and non-contentious IP matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, with an ability to generate new business and further strengthen the firm's presence in the market
  • Provide high-quality legal advice on a wide range of IP issues, including trademarks, patents, copyright, and design rights
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team, ensuring continuous professional growth within the department
  • Substantial experience in IP law, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation, ideally at Partner or Legal Director level within a reputable law firm
  • 8+ Years' PQE
  • Proven track record of managing complex IP matters and delivering commercially driven legal solutions
  • Strong business development skills with a solid network of clients and contacts
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and contribute to the firm's wider business objectives
