Nurturing Educator for Students with Additional Needs

We are seeking a nurturing Educator to join our team at Academics in Luton. As a SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, providing tailored assistance to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Your role will involve working 1:1 or with small groups of students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties, to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success and emotional well-being.
You will have opportunities to collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), which will enable you to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with SEN.
The salary for this position is estimated to be approximately £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience, reflecting the value we place on our staff members' contributions to the education and training sector.
