About the School:

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, supporting students with ASD, MLD, and ADHD in a mainstream environment. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to develop and implement individualized support plans, provide one-to-one support, and build strong relationships with parents and carers.

Responsibilities:
  • Working in the classroom to support the teacher and other teaching assistants
  • Running interventions and small group sessions to support students' learning and development
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and progress updates
  • Contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons and activities to meet the needs of students with special educational needs

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A-C grades in English and Maths
  • Level 3 TA Qualification preferred

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
