Job Title: Deputy Performance Manager

As a key member of our performance management team, you will play a critical role in driving excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage performance within the Medicine Division to achieve diagnostic and outpatient targets.
  • Develop and implement systems of waiting list management that are patient-focused, efficient, and allow proactive management of increased demand.
  • Coordinate day case planners and ensure accuracy of Directorate 18-week waiting information using the trust Information Management System.
  • Manage and review the performance of admissions teams to ensure compliance with National RTT Guidelines.
  • Review consultant follow-up backlogs and identify any capacity issues.
Requirements:
  • Relevant managerial experience of 'system' working and performance management.
  • Experience of managing staff, change management, and training and development.
  • Experience of capacity and demand planning.
  • Relevant postgraduate Diploma or NVQ level 6 (or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience through relevant training).
