Job Title: Deputy Performance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Performance Manager to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Performance Manager in the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Performance Manager in the development and implementation of performance management strategies and plans.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to implement changes and improvements to services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on performance management and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in performance management and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management principles.
