Job Title: Applications Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applications Support Analyst to join our team at Prosource. As an Applications Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering support and maintenance services for our business application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide application support and maintenance services to ensure seamless operation of our business applications.
  • Install, configure, administer, support, maintain, and troubleshoot our business application portfolio.
  • Engage with 3rd party vendors to ensure successful support and maintenance activities.
  • Provide support for onshore and offshore business applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure services are supported and aligned with business requirements.
  • Maintain systems documentation, ensuring knowledge base articles and IS guides are up-to-date.
  • Ensure events and demand are dealt with within agreed SLAs, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Deploy and manage solutions to meet defined business-specific needs, as defined through product maps/lifecycles.
  • Provide out-of-hours support on an occasional basis for scheduled maintenance, project activities, and via the on-call support rota.
Requirements:
  • Experience of supporting Business Applications, with a strong understanding of Cloud Application services, M365, Azure, SQL, and AD.
  • Experience of database technologies such as SQL Server and Oracle, with a solid understanding of application installation and configuration.
  • Strong documentation skills, with a focus on processes and a determined approach to handling day-to-day operational pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and meet agreed deadlines, with strong organizational skills to juggle multiple issues and changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise with various areas of the business.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise applications within the energy and utilities sector is preferred but not essential.
  • ITIL foundation qualification is desired but not essential.
