We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team at prosource.it. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional application support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for business applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project solutions
  • Maintain applications in line with product roadmaps and lifecycle planning
  • Deliver application support related BAU services, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure services are supported
  • Maintain systems documentation and ensure knowledge base articles and IS guides are up-to-date
  • Ensure events and demand are dealt with within agreed SLAs

Requirements

  • Proven experience of supporting business applications
  • Experience supporting desktop client front-end applications and web-based applications
  • Understanding and experience of troubleshooting client/server applications
  • Aptitude for technical troubleshooting and understanding application errors and log files to identify root cause
  • Experience of project working, such as migration/upgrade of existing services, roll out of new solutions
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience and understanding of ITIL service management, ideally with experience of ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise with various areas of the business
