**Head of Development and Fundraising Strategy**

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Development and Fundraising Strategy to lead our fundraising efforts and drive our mission forward. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to maximize voluntary income and secure vital support for our artistic work.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy that aligns with our artistic vision and mission.
- Lead the creation and implementation of the New Adventures fundraising strategy, including maintaining and enhancing understanding of our activities and future plans.
- Work with the Finance and Operations team to manage and report on the Trusts and Foundations income stream, including financial planning and achieving fundraising targets.
- Lead on the writing of applications to Trusts and Foundations and other grant giving bodies, building and continuing to research prospects for our Trusts and Foundations pipeline.
- Work with the Deputy Managing Director to prioritize projects for Trusts and Foundations funding and targeted Philanthropy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective Trusts and Foundations, inviting them to engage with our work through attendance at events, workshops, and performances.
- Support the Development Associate to secure and deliver cash and in-kind corporate partnerships.
- Support the Development Associate and Development Officer on events strategy and delivery, including gala nights, press nights, project visits, cultivation, and members events.
- Support the Development Officer to manage a reporting schedule for our funders.
- Support the Development Officer to deliver a timely thanking process for all levels of donations, gifts, and grants.
- Attend events, press/gala nights, and important company performances and fundraising events, including occasional UK and International travel.
- Take an active role in your continuing professional development, identifying relevant training and professional development opportunities.
- Work at all times in accordance with our Environmental Policy and Plan and to proactively develop and encourage environmentally sustainable practice.
- Experience of working with a CRM system to support your workflow and track progress as well as record financial data.
- Previous experience of writing successful Trusts and Foundations applications.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data protection, and fundraising compliance.
- Flexibility, approachability, and adaptability – with the ability to work well within and lead a small team.
