Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Head of Fundraising Strategy. This role is crucial in steering the Funding Department, crafting and executing a robust income generation strategy that aligns with the organization’s broader strategic objectives.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Fundraising will serve as a strategic leader, championing the organization’s commitment to decolonization, anti-racism, and social justice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of innovative fundraising strategies.
- Engage and inspire the organization to achieve its income generation goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to drive fundraising success.
- Manage and mentor a team of six direct reports, fostering a culture of motivation and achievement.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in income generation, demonstrating the ability to create and implement successful fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth. Previous experience in managing teams or departments is essential.
We seek a strategic leader who can inspire their team and work collaboratively with other executive leaders. A strong alignment with the organization’s values, particularly in anti-racism, gender equality, and social justice, is crucial.
