Job Description:

Overview:

The Bamboo Fundraising Recruitment team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foundations Manager to join our team. As a Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with philanthropic foundations to support our client's mission to create a more ethical and sustainable food system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to build philanthropic income from foundations in Europe
  • Identify and build strong relationships with a portfolio of philanthropic foundations across Europe
  • Craft and present creative funding proposals and strong grant applications
  • Work closely with the Head of Development to achieve fundraising goals
  • Utilize a CRM database to record and track interactions with donors and prospects

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of cultivating relationships with foundations or other funding institutions
  • Ability to see the big picture and envision an ambitious goal and illuminate a path for achieving it
  • Ability to persuasively make the case for support and represent the organization to stakeholders
  • Self-motivation and a sense of ownership and responsibility to drive outcomes
  • Comfort using a CRM database and attention to detail
