About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our fundraising and development efforts. As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to achieve a net target of approximately £2m per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the statutory and non-statutory income generation team, including tenders, grants, and fundraising staff.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve the organization's financial goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement the organization's overall strategy.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and development, with a strong understanding of the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
