Role Overview

Ideagen is a leading provider of software solutions that help organizations ensure the safety and quality of their products and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our global sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in SaaS and Quality markets, with a strong drive for net new revenue growth and a hunter mentality. They will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, as well as upselling existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and understanding of clients' challenges and industry changes.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business to meet annual goals.
  • Drive net new business activities to grow Ideagen's revenue and customer base.
  • Coordinate activities around customer needs, focusing on upsell initiatives of new solutions, integrations, and customer support.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to define plans for lead and prospect generation.
  • Understand target markets and how Ideagen's products benefit these markets to meet compliance and quality needs.
  • Ensure all communications and opportunity progression with leads and prospects are kept current in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Travel when necessary to visit prospects and customer locations to develop/maintain relationships.
  • Provide product feedback and competitor information from the field to the internal team.
  • Be the voice and advocate for the company's purpose and mission.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Sales with a focus on new logos and existing customer growth.
  • Proven experience using MEDDPICC Sales Qualifying Techniques and methodologies or comparable sales training.
  • Strong drive and hunter mentality for driving net new revenue required.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to seek out and build lasting relationships.
  • Able to work on a team or individually.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Accepts and responds to feedback quickly and positively.
  • Passion for continuous learning.
