Role Overview
Ideagen is a leading provider of software solutions that help organizations ensure the safety and quality of their products and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our global sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in SaaS and Quality markets, with a strong drive for net new revenue growth and a hunter mentality. They will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, as well as upselling existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and understanding of clients' challenges and industry changes.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business to meet annual goals.
- Drive net new business activities to grow Ideagen's revenue and customer base.
- Coordinate activities around customer needs, focusing on upsell initiatives of new solutions, integrations, and customer support.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to define plans for lead and prospect generation.
- Understand target markets and how Ideagen's products benefit these markets to meet compliance and quality needs.
- Ensure all communications and opportunity progression with leads and prospects are kept current in CRM (Salesforce).
- Travel when necessary to visit prospects and customer locations to develop/maintain relationships.
- Provide product feedback and competitor information from the field to the internal team.
- Be the voice and advocate for the company's purpose and mission.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Sales with a focus on new logos and existing customer growth.
- Proven experience using MEDDPICC Sales Qualifying Techniques and methodologies or comparable sales training.
- Strong drive and hunter mentality for driving net new revenue required.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to seek out and build lasting relationships.
- Able to work on a team or individually.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Accepts and responds to feedback quickly and positively.
- Passion for continuous learning.
