About the Role

Reed Education is seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to work at an Ofsted 'Good' Primary School in Pendle. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with complex needs. As a dedicated member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to reach their fullest potential.

The successful candidate will have a teaching assistant qualification or equivalent and experience working with children with complex needs. They will be passionate about delivering high-quality support to ensure each child's individual needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Salary: £18,500-23,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role involves:
  • Providing targeted support to meet the diverse needs of pupils
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborating with the educational team to design and implement tailored learning plans
  • Observing and recording pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
