Teaching Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Academic Support Professional to join our permanent staff team. The successful candidate will provide academic support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to adapt their approach to meet the needs of individual pupils. Relevant experience in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress to inform teaching strategies and interventions.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo the process).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
