Leadership Opportunity in Child Mental Health

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 7 CAMHS Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join and lead our dedicated team, supporting children and adolescents' mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference while developing your leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and supervise the CAMHS team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Caseload Management: Carry a small caseload of complex cases, delivering specialist assessments and interventions.
  • Strategic Involvement: Attend management meetings, contributing to service planning and improvement initiatives.
  • Support and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to enhance their professional growth.
Essential Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
  • Proven experience in CAMHS and managing complex cases.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for community visits.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
