Job Overview

The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Art Psychotherapist to join our team at the Tamarind Centre, a medium-secure unit for men with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality art psychotherapy services to support patients in their recovery journey.

Salary: £46,129 - £59,230 per annum (dependent on experience)

Main Duties of the Job
  1. Continuing the work of the current Art Psychotherapist and innovating through quality improvement projects or service development.
  2. Delivering trauma-informed closed groups, individual therapy, and open ward-based work, including staff support.

Person Specification: A postgraduate accredited Masters Degree in Art Psychotherapy, with experience of delivering specialist art psychotherapy assessment and interventions in mental health, as well as clinical supervision to qualified or trainee art psychotherapists.
