Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced nurse who can work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and individualized treatment plans. The successful candidate will have strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations.
  2. Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans.
  3. Administer medications and monitor their effects.
  4. Provide support and counseling to patients and their families.
  5. Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  6. Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the medical team.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  2. Licensure: Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
  3. Experience: Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential.

This is a temporary position, and the hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The working environment is a hospital setting with exposure to patients with various mental health conditions. The ideal candidate should be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods.
