Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offers an exciting opportunity to join the therapeutic team at the Lookout Child and Adolescent inpatient unit.
As a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with a varied caseload of young people aged 13 to 18, providing specialist psychological assessment, supervision, and training to staff.
You will become part of the psychology team serving all three inpatient units, covering general admissions, eating disorders, and psychiatric intensive care.
We are one of the largest mental health and community trusts in the East Midlands and offer a range of employee-led staff networks, including Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion groups.
Our health and wellbeing priorities include occupational health services, staff counselling, and a dedicated Health and Wellbeing team.
Salary£43,742 to £57,349 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention to young people with complex mental health needs
- Supervising staff and providing formal and informal training on psychological and mental health issues
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, social work, and nursing
