Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Specialist Occupational Therapist position within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team.
Job OverviewThis exciting opportunity involves working with a diverse range of clients, assessing their occupational performance, and developing tailored interventions to enhance their daily functioning.
Main Duties- Conduct detailed assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address the occupational needs of children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of occupational therapy services.
- Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives to maintain expertise and stay updated on best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in occupational therapy, HCPC registration, and significant experience working with vulnerable populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
Essential Qualifications- Recognised occupational therapy degree/qualification
- HCPC Registration
- Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy
The salary for this position is £40,495 - £50,841 per annum, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
