We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychology Specialist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team in an Award-Winning NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our friendly community mental health team, providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments for individuals experiencing psychosis-related difficulties.

As a Clinical Psychology Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist psychological assessments and treatment plans for clients referred to the EIP Mental Health Service.
  • Facilitating groups for clients and carers to promote understanding and support.
  • Undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual clients, ensuring the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.

You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of the team's operational policies and services, employing your professional skills in research, service evaluation, and audit.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression within the NHS.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist and hold a Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent. A willingness to undertake Advanced Training in CBTp is also required.
