Job Description
This role involves working with vulnerable individuals who require ongoing support and guidance to achieve independence. As an Independent Living Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating their transition to self-sufficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting needs assessments, developing personalized support plans, and providing guidance on budgeting and benefit entitlements. You will also accompany clients to visits and services, participate in case reviews, and contribute to decision-making processes.
Key Requirements
* Experience and understanding of approaches appropriate to working with complex needs, including mental or physical ill health, substance misuse, and anti-social behavior
* A working knowledge of supported accommodation and floating support services
* Demonstrable understanding of Housing and related legislation
* Ability to effectively liaise with service providers and agencies to establish or improve services for clients
* Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks appropriately
Benefits and Salary
The salary for this role is £16.24 per hour, based on a 37.5-hour week. This equates to approximately £31,500 per annum, not including holiday pay. Our benefits package includes access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
