About the Role
The North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to provide high-quality care to children and young people with mental health problems within the THRIVE Framework.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing direct therapeutic interventions, undertaking risk assessments, and working collaboratively with families from diverse backgrounds. You will also contribute to the development of innovative and creative practice within the team and participate in duty rotas.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to promote the Thrive model of service delivery and work in ways that are sensitive to the needs of children and young people and their families. You will be expected to maintain accurate electronic clinical records and respond to service users' needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in CAMHS, experience in mentorship, supervision, and coordination of staff, as well as a deep understanding of the Care Planning process. A registered core profession social worker or nurse with up-to-date professional registration is essential.
You should demonstrate sound leadership qualities, an engaging leadership style, and a commitment to accountability, support, and high professional standards. Additionally, you must be responsive to service users and have a thorough understanding of management styles.
