Mental Health Occupational Therapy Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Mental Health Occupational Therapy Support Worker to join our dynamic team in a mental health setting. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our service users.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Occupational Therapists in the development and delivery of treatment plans, working closely with Nursing and Support Worker staff to meet the diverse needs of service users.
Main Duties- To support Service Users with activities throughout the therapeutic day under the supervision of senior Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychological Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
- Work collaboratively and flexibly with the team to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans, supporting Service Users to increase their independence and well-being.
- Assist in planning and facilitating individual and group work with Service Users, implementing agreed plans/tasks in familiar or defined contexts.

Requirements- Ability to work on own initiative as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team under directive supervision, actively participating in own supervision.
- Sound values and positive attitude towards people with mental health, learning and associated disabilities, and complex needs.
Estimated salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata, reflecting the value we place on our employees' skills and dedication.
